How To Meditate
Dates to be announced for 2009-2010
Become master of your own mind through the art of Tibetan Buddhist meditation! In this 2-day course, learn the purpose of meditation and several different types of meditation, as well as very practical details about how to sit properly, how to set up your own meditation session and how to deal with obstacles and negative emotions that may arise during your meditation.
Daily drop-in Meditation and Yoga
April - September 2009 Daily Meditation 6:45-7:30am and 7.00pm in the small gompa
Guided Meditations which have been recorded from previous courses and retreats at Root Institute are available. Various styles of Tibetan Buddhist meditation are available.
Daily Yoga finished for 2009 season
The gentle minfdul yoga is suitable for all ages and abilities. Join us for 1 day, 2 days... as many as you like! No pre-registration is required.
Yoga classes are ususally offered during peak season. Please confirm dates/times before arrival.
Dharma Videos
