Courses for Hindi Speakers
With Ven. Sumati (Kabir Saxena) and Naresh Mathur
Root Institute is pleased to offer a series of monthly one-day courses for Hindi-speakers on the classic text Lam Rim Chenmo (The Graduated Stages of the Path to Enlightenment) which beautifully introduces the student to all the major topics that were taught by Shakyamuni Buddha in a gradual manner, starting with how to listen and meditate on the teachings and then explaining very clearly how to generate proper renunciation, sila, samadhi, pragya, as well as the precious mind of great compassion, bodhicitta. Each course will include lectures, meditation and discussion. All Hindi-speakers are most welcome to join us for this rare opportunity to study the Buddhadharma in a very detailed, systematic and practical way!
Also, our regular Saturday afternoon sessions will continue 5 – 6.30pm each week and will help deepen the understanding gained in the monthly courses.
