A Meditation Retreat

with Ven. Tingyal

Ven. Tingyal

Venerable Tingyal was ordained as a monk in 2006. He studied at Lama Tsong Khapa Institute in Italy and now shares his time between Nepal and India, where he has been leading meditation and retreats, at the request of Lama Zopa Rinpoche, at Kopan Monastery and Root Institute for the last five years.

This residential course provides an overview of the entire Tibetan Buddhist path to enlightenment through teachings, guided meditations and discussion groups.

You will ….

-Learn how to meditate

-Explore Buddha's philosophy on the nature of the mind, karma, rebirth, love, compassion, ultimate reality and more.

-Experience directly how Buddhism's practical step-by-step teachings and meditations can increase peace, happiness and compassion in your own daily life

You do not need to have previous experience in meditation or Buddhism to participate in this course, although those with previous experience will also enjoy this course in order to reviewed and contemplate more deeply the essential points of the path. Besides, through hearing teachings from different teachers, one can stimulate fresh insights for even experienced students.
